Group Fitness Classes are categorized by Complexity and Intensity.
L—Low M—Moderate H—High

GROUP POWER

This 60-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscle groups in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels.

CARDIO CROSS TRAINING, P90X LIVE, INSANITY LIVE

Emphasizing the cardio-respiratory component, participants will alternate between varying intensities of cardio training and functional resistance training. Movements change often so forget about boredom! This is a well-rounded workout with many options for both the new and seasoned exerciser. This class will help develop the secondary components of fitness (coordination, balance, speed, power and agility) that are missing from simple cardio and weight training workouts. Format will vary from class to class.

GROUP CYCLING

An excellent cardiorespiratory and lower-body workout on the stationary bike. This class uses Schwinn Authentic Cycling principles, and is  designed to feel like an actual road ride. Each rider has total control over his or her own intensity level, so this class is a great place for both the brand new exerciser and the seasoned cyclist! YOGA

Traditional yoga postures fluidly linked together, enhancing the length and strength of your muscles while reducing stress and relaxing your mind. Improve your posture, balance, strength, flexibility and coordination while you rejuvenate your inner self.

EVENING YOGA

An entry level class perfect for those new to yoga, as well as those who have yoga experience and enjoy the benefits of a soothing yoga practice. The connection between the body and the breath, body alignment, flexibility and stress release are the primary areas of focus in this class. A relaxing way to complete your day!

55+ CLASSES

ACTIVE ADULT CROSS TRAINING

A blend of low impact aerobics and functional conditioning focused on keeping older adults strong, healthy and active. Includes aerobic, resistance, coordination, balance, and core exercises, designed to keep movement more efficient and life more enjoyable. This class meets in the Group Fitness Studio and is set to music.

ACTIVE ADULT WEIGHT ROOM

A weight room class just for our 55+ adults! Coached by a personal trainer, participants will experience aerobic, resistance, balance, and flexibility training. Plan to meet with the trainer your first time to review health history and get you on your way.
