Junior Development Program

Our junior development program gives kids ages four and up the perfect environment to work on their tennis game. We offer classes that will develop your child’s hand-eye coordination, help them with their point play, and more.

Green Dot Aces

Tuesday and Thursday – 4:00-5:00 pm

In this class we use a combination of the orange and green dot ball from the QuickStart 10 & Under curriculum. More advanced stroke technique and footwork are some of the major focuses of this class. We also use a lot more point play based drills to develop their understanding of positioning and basic strategy. It is our goal in Future Stars 3 to get our students ready for basic tournament match play.

Red Ball Aces

Monday and Wednesday – 3:30-4:30 pm

In this class we use the red ball and 36’ court from the QuickStart 10 & Under curriculum. This allows our youngest students to progress into cooperative partner drills and rallying much sooner with more success. We have a strong focus on hand-eye coordination and movement, along with developing basic groundstroke and volley technique. As our students’ skill level progress we will even introduce them to basic point play and scoring.

Orange Ball Aces

Tuesday and Thursday – 4:00-5:00 pm

In this class we use the orange ball and 60’ court from the QuickStart 10 & Under curriculum. As the court gets larger we start to focus more on stroke development and proper footwork. Students in this class will be introduced to the overhand serve along with basic match play and scoring. We will also spend time improving court positioning skills in fun, competitive point play formats.

Middle School / High School Program

Thursday 7:00-8:30 pm

In this class focus on the fundamentals of the sport to help students understand and enjoy playing tennis. Some of our specific focuses include: learning proper grips, improving stroke technique, footwork, movement and positioning. Students in this class will get a lot of exposure to basic point play as well as an introduction to match scoring.

Junior Development

Tuesday and Thursday – 5:00-7:00 pm

In this class we will spend a lot of time in point play, along with an emphasis on advanced footwork and movement. Students will learn how to move more efficiently around the court as well as the proper pre-stroke footwork sequence and balance. Match play strategy, in both singles and doubles, is another important focus of this class.

Tournament Competition

Tuesday and Thursday – 5:00-7:00 pm

In our TC class, we work hard at developing players to compete at tournament and High School levels. Players will improve consistency, court awareness, technique, movement and fitness. We teach each player how to construct a point from start to finish. Each player will learn the importance of offense and defense strategies and how to utilize their strength to do well during competition.

High Performance

Monday and Wednesday 4:30-6:30 pm

This class is reserved for our highest level junior players with the most match play experience. We focus on point construction, directional patterns, shot selection and advanced strategy much more than our other camps. Students in this class will also receive more conditioning, footwork training and movement drills throughout the week. The mental game is also part of what we focus on as we go through many different competitive point play scenarios each session.
