Wyatt DeMulling started playing tennis at the age of three and grew up competing in the Pacific Northwest, where he achieved the No. 1 ranking in the region. He went on to compete nationally in all four USTA Super National tournaments, including the Easter Bowl, Clay Courts, Kalamazoo, and Winter Nationals.
He played Division I college tennis at Boise State University, reaching as high as No. 2 in the singles lineup. After graduation, he spent 2.5 years on the professional tour, achieving a career-high world ranking of 1844.
Following his playing career, he began coaching and worked with his former teammate, Lawrence Sciglitano, helping him win a doubles title on tour. He later returned to his home club, Boeing Employees Tennis Club, where he coached juniors and adults. Wyatt comes to Eugene as an Assistant coach with the University of Oregon Men’s Tennis program in addition to the coaching team at ESTC.
