Weston’s journey with tennis began at age 11 in West Texas, quickly growing into a lifelong passion. As a junior competitor, he rose to become the #1 singles player on his high school team, won dozens of USTA tournaments, earned a top-100 junior ranking in Texas, and defeated the defending state champion his senior year. After taking time away from competitive play to pursue creative arts, technology, and teaching—including instructional roles with Apple and the Musicians Institute in Hollywood—Weston returned to the court at age 35, playing on two national teams in 2015 and 2016.
Having recently relocated to Eugene from Los Angeles, Weston brings seven years of dedicated coaching experience with players of all ages and skill levels, as well as serving as Head Coach for the Sheldon High School Boys Tennis program in 2026. His coaching philosophy integrates the body, mind, and spirit of the athlete—combining technical mastery and
tactical strategy with focus, emotional intelligence, and mental resilience. Weston enjoys helping players reach their specific
goals, whether that means making a school team, improving a ranking, or simply refining technique.
Excited to join the team at ESTC, Weston looks forward to helping players at the club expand their tennis game!
